5/21/2023 0 Comments Dog Days of History by Sarah AlbeeThe Craig-Bradley Debate: Can a Loving God Send People to Hell? (1994)., quoted in Muehlhauser, Luke ().You have no way of knowing that possibility. Otherwise you don't know that heaven is an actualizable world. It may be that the only way in which God could actualize a heaven of free creatures all worshiping Him and not falling into sin would be by having, so to speak, this run-up to it, this advance life during which there is a veil of decision-making in which some people choose for God and some people against God. Heaven may not be a possible world when you take it in isolation by itself. But to pretend that people are not sinful and in need of salvation would be as cruel and deceptive as pretending that somebody was healthy even though you knew that he had a fatal disease for which you knew the cure. I truly wish with all my heart that universal salvation were true. If we reject Jesus’ offer of forgiveness, then there is simply is no one else to pay the penalty for your sin – except yourself. But if we reject Christ, then we reject God's mercy and fall back on His justice.

5/21/2023 0 Comments The siren book tiffany reiszThis is not a book for people who can't handle criticism of the Catholic church. The main female protagonist of this book has sex with a great many people during the course of the book, both male and female, including an underage boy, although she didn't know he was underage at the time-but she also didn't ask-and I am so not okay with anything about that scene and it makes me feel sick just thinking about it and the main male protagonist is married (although he and his wife are separated, and his wife had an affair with another man). I am recommending this book, but I should be very, very clear and let you all know that if you read this, expect pain. There's no way to talk about this without including spoilers, so I'm going to spoiler tag liberally. If I were grading this book based on how comfortable it made me feel, it would probably be right around zero stars. There is so much in this book that just blows past my comfort zones. This is not a traditional romance, and most people would probably say that this is not a romance at all. I just want to make things clear right off the bat. 5/21/2023 0 Comments Woodham smith the great hungerThe family was dropped after less than a year. Anthony also describes his fascinating discovery of how the wear from bits on ancient horse teeth reveals the origins of horseback riding. He explains how they spread their traditions and gave rise to important advances in copper mining, warfare, and patron-client political institutions, thereby ushering in an era of vibrant social change. Linking prehistoric archaeological remains with the development of language, David Anthony identifies the prehistoric peoples of central Eurasia's steppe grasslands as the original speakers of Proto-Indo-European, and shows how their innovative use of the ox wagon, horseback riding, and the warrior's chariot turned the Eurasian steppes into a thriving transcontinental corridor of communication, commerce, and cultural exchange. The Horse, the Wheel, and Language lifts the veil that has long shrouded these original Indo-European speakers, and reveals how their domestication of horses and use of the wheel spread language and transformed civilization. But who were the early speakers of this ancient mother tongue, and how did they manage to spread it around the globe? Until now their identity has remained a tantalizing mystery to linguists, archaeologists, and even Nazis seeking the roots of the Aryan race. Roughly half the world's population speaks languages derived from a shared linguistic source known as Proto-Indo-European. For me the books-and I think this is true for romance novels in general-they offer an escape," he tells. But there was this really charming family at the center of things.
